Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

GeoVis (“we”) operates a self-serve GEO (generative engine optimization) workspace. This policy explains what we collect when you visit the marketing site or create an account. It replaces older language that described GeoVis as a consulting-only service without login.

2. Information we collect

• Account. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile photo if Google provides them, plus a token we use to create or recognize your GeoVis account.
• Workspace data. Project names, official domains, research briefs, uploaded files, buyer questions, scan results, reports, content drafts, and monitoring settings you create.
• Billing. Wallet top-ups processed by Stripe (we store amounts, status, and Stripe references — not full card numbers).
• Usage and logs. Which pipeline steps you run, approximate timestamps, and technical logs needed to operate and bill the Service.
• Marketing site. Standard request logs and, where enabled, privacy-respecting analytics (for example Cloudflare Web Analytics). We do not sell advertising audiences.

3. How we use it

• Provide the workspace: research, question generation, AI scans, reports, drafts, and scheduled monitoring.
• Authenticate you, secure the account, and send product emails (for example when a scan or report finishes).
• Meter usage and maintain your USD wallet.
• Diagnose failures and improve the product, including anonymized aggregates.
• Comply with law and prevent abuse.

4. AI engines and processors

To run the Service we send prompts, public site context, and related workspace text to third-party AI and infrastructure providers. Those may include model routers and vendors such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, and Perplexity, plus hosting and data processors (for example Vercel, Railway, Neon, and our email sender).

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data with processors only as needed to run GeoVis (payments, hosting, AI, email). We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the Service and other users.

Your identifiable brand workspace is not shown to other customers. Anonymized statistics may be used to improve methodology.

6. Cookies and sessions

The marketing site uses only what is needed to deliver pages and optional first-party or privacy-focused analytics. The workspace stores a session token in your browser (local storage) so you stay signed in. That is an account-based platform. Older policy text that said we “do not operate a login-based platform” is no longer true.

7. Retention

We keep account, project, scan, report, and billing records while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for metering, support, and legal obligations. You can delete individual projects in the app. To request deletion of an entire account, email hello@getgeovis.com.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact us at hello@getgeovis.com. We will respond within a reasonable period (typically 30 days).

9. International transfers

We and our processors may process data in the United States and other countries. If you use GeoVis from elsewhere, you understand that your information may be transferred to those locations.

10. Children

The Service is for business users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
